Sunday 26th November 2017 – AFTER LAST NIGHT’S …

… early night, I was wide awake at … err … 04:50.

But badger that for a game of soldiers. I stayed in bed and tried my best to go back to sleep. And it must have worked because I was off on my travels, as a black boy living in a white family, that might even have been my own. I know that I’m very different from the rest of my siblings, but this is being ridiculous.

09:42 when I crawled out of bed. That’s much more like it. And a 10:30 breakfast – that’s even better.

But here’s some bad news – Altavista, the company that provides me with my Usenet newsreader service, seems to have gone offline. I’m rather lost without that and I hope that it comes back on line pretty soon.

With a late breakfast, it was a late lunch too. And then I went out for a walk. I should have gone out to find a footy match but I wasn’t really in the mood.

Something out on the skyline caught my eye, and the camera and zoom lens told me that it was the marker lights and buoys on the rocks just offshore from the Iles de Chausey. I’ve never seen them as clear as this before. They were quite impressive.

And it was a quiet walk – not very many people around and no-one wanted to chat.

Having had what is becoming my regular afternoon snooze, I made a pizza again. And I dp like this idea of putting pepper on the topping before the cheese. It gives it a lovely kick.

No chance of going for a walk this evening though. It’s absolutely pouring down. I’m going to stay in and have an early night. Make myself redya for the start of yet another week.
