It was well-worth the trip too because they are certainly out-of-the-ordinary as you can see. And in the weather that we have been having this last few days/weeks/months, living in somewhere like this is not a bad idea at all because it’s atrocious and if I’m not careful these pages will become an eternal liturgy of desolation.
This morning I took advantage of the absence of everyone by repacking stuff that is hanging around in the car. I found a bigger cardboard box and repacked the library, and generally rearranged things in the suitcase. THat’s given me some more room to play about with.
Tim Horton’s was next, for now that they have free wifi access it’s an obvious port-of-call when I’m out. And from there I wandered off for lunch, sitting on a bluff near Hartland overlooking one of the rivers, whose name I managed to forget, to eat my butties.
This afternoonn I went, via Noah Laneof course, to see someone I know, and we had a good chat and organised a few things here and there. That took quite a while. And apart from that, we spent a lot of family time together and had a good chat. There’s not a lot else that you can do in weather like this.
