LES GUIS - THE PHOTOS FROM 2001 |
- In which Paul proves to his wife that he is indeed in France with me and not gallivanting around chasing floosies, and I recycle my used engine oil.
- The first part of the extension of the concrete base in front of the soon-to-be kitchen of the house
- The floor that I salvaged from the local tip, that is starting to become a really good fence. If you look closely at the enlarged image you can see the corrugated iron sheeting I also recovered from the tip
- I'm going to build a lean-to shed in this corner, to store the farm machinery I'm collecting.
- The finished fence and gate. This was some feat of engineering, I can tell you.
- The finished concrete base. Here I'm going to erect a lean-to conservatory as a "warm room" to the house.
- New doors, all coated with engine oil.
- The new trees I planted. The large one nearest the camera I found at the tip. Not much hope is given for its survival, but we can give it a try.
- The village of Pionsat. Photo taken on 9 November during a break in the snowfall. The temperature was minus 3°C
