I dozed off quickly enough, even with the radio on, but I was soon awake again when something loud came on the radio. And once I&#8217;d sorted that out, I couldn&#8217;t go back to sleep again for ages. <\/p>\n<p>However,I must have done because the alarm awoke me. And then it took ages to leave the comfort and warmth of my bed. I&#8217;d been on my travels too for some part of it, wandering around somewhere with a young lady.<\/p>\n<p>For the first part of the morning I pottered around and then set off for the garage to leave Caliburn for his wheel bearing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesguis.com\/images\/1612\/1612010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lesguis.com\/images\/1612\/1612010.jpg\" alt=\"peugeot 306 courtsey car garage jailot st gervais d'auvergne puy de dome france\" width=\"300\" height=\"204\"\/><\/a>The courtesy car was there too this time. It&#8217;s a 1994 Peugeot 306 with 308,000 kilometres on the clock and a rear flasher that didn&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<p>There wasn&#8217;t any diesel in it either so I had to put 12 litres in it to get me about, an don my way back home I went <em>via<\/em> the Intermarch\u00e9 at Pionsat for a little shopping and to visit the bank.<\/p>\n<p>Liz phoned me up too and we had a good chat.<br \/>\n<br clear=\"both\"><\/p>\n<p>After lunch I carried on with the tidying up in here, slow as it is, and then went down to see how Caliburn was doing. But he wasn&#8217;t ready and that&#8217;s something of a disappointment as I would have been on the road tomorrow had he been ready. Now, I have no idea when i&#8217;m going to leave here.<\/p>\n<p>Tea was mushrooms, green beans, vegetables and pasta in tomato sauce cooked in the oven.
