… I was upstairs in the kitchen, having breakfast.<\/p>\n

You might be astonished by this incredibly early start to the day, and quite rightly so because it was nothing like an early start at all, more of part of a rather late night.<\/p>\n

And it wasn’t actually a late night either because I had in fact gone to bed. Dunno what time I fell asleep but it was certainly after 01:10, and it was definitely before 02:30 when I awoke, drenched in sweat. I know that this treatment that I’ve been having is supposed to work best when I’m asleep, and I know that I’ve been asked on numerous occasions if I have sweating issues when I’m asleep. And so today, I can safely acknowledge it.<\/p>\n

I’m not too worried about the lack of sleep today though. It’s not as if I have too much of anything else to do so if I want to crash out, I can without worrying about missing anything exciting or important.<\/p>\n

Despite the small amount of sleep that I had, I still managed to go off on some travels. I was in Canada at a village kind of fete or whatever given by my niece and it turned out that all the rest of my family had arrived and they were all there. One of them even tried to talk to me but I was having none of it. I went down to the far end of the trestle tables where some people were trying to get up a kind of line dance and although it’s nothing like my particular scene, I decided to join in with them instead. Everyone here was wearing blue clothes – light blue tops and mid-blue bottoms.<\/p>\n

Back in my room again and I notice that my cough and running nose have returned. Not as bad as before but they are here nevertheless. I wonder if I’m allergic to my room? <\/p>\n

For most of the day I haven’t done too much except crash out here and there. Mind you, that’s not too much of a surprise – it’s only to be expected after my nuit blanche<\/em>. I did manage to go out for some shopping at lunchtime and passed by the office to pay the balance of my room rental. However, the clerk on duty didn’t have my account handy and so that ended up being a waste of time. <\/p>\n

I made a good tea tonight, with kidney beans, mixed veg, boulghour, tomato sauce and pasta, followed by sliced spicy cake and soya dessert. You can tell that my appetite is back. And I enjoyed the walk to the supermarket and back, even in the simmering heat. It was probably the warmest day of the year today. Luckily, I found a cooling fan in the building and so it’s now mine and it works quite well.<\/p>\n

The room was cleaned today too, and I have clean bedding for tonight. If it doesn’t cool down a little later I’ll even go for a shower later and cool down.<\/p>\n

So for now, anyway, I’m ready for anything. I wish that this coughing and runny nose would go away though. <\/p>\n
