…out today. Terry rang up to say that he was going to Brico Depot and did I fancy a ride?<\/p>\n

Not that I was doing very much else at the time and so I thought “why not?”. A nice summer day (because it really was) in pleasant company. And we didn’t get back until 19:00 either.<\/p>\n

Just for a change this week, I was up at … errr … 09:20 which is early for me just now. And after breakfast I attacked the website again and updated a few more pages and added one or two more.<\/p>\n

The boulang\u00e8re<\/em> came round this morning and we had a little chat, and that, dear reader, was the sum total of my day.<\/p>\n

But not quite.<\/p>\n

I was on my travels again during the night and I remember at one point thinking to myself “God, this is boring. I won’t bother remembering this”. And when I woke up, all that I could remember of the night’s activity was that comment and nothing else.<\/p>\n

It does rather remind me of the famous Tommy Cooper joke –
