And that’s a lie-in day of course.

Mind you, 10:40 is something of an exaggeration, even if I didn’t go to bed until 02:30. Not too far though. I was out driving around the Whitchurch area for some reason. I needed a place to stay for the night. I found a lay-by or cut-off piece of old road at Alrewas, although Alrewas was nowhere near where I was supposed to be. It was more like Hanmer, that area. So I went to pull in there to have some sleep. But there was a village hall nearby and there was a party or disco going on there and the noise was keeping me awake. So I decided that what i would do first is to to sit and have a read until everyone went home. There were all these kids walking past the end of this cutoff heading towards this disco or away from it and i was wondering how long it was going to be before they had gone and I could get some sleep.

So after the meds I finished off the task that I had started, and then stripped down the two digital sound files that I’d downloaded the other day and converted them to *.mp3.

They then needed breaking down into the individual tracks – and that was when I found that for some reason or other, one of the tracks hadn’t been included on the master tapes.

That took some hunting down – It’s by a group that probably no-one else has ever heard of as they only recorded one album and then disappeared without trace.

However after going through many blind alleys I found a copy – and that was an *.mkv file, to my dismay.

But you can’t keep a good dog down.
