… almost all of the day curled up on the sofa under the quilt.<\/p>\n

My exertions from the other day coming back from North Africa have finally caught up with me and so that was that. <\/p>\n

When the alarm went off at 06:20 I did manage to struggle out of bed and I even ate breakfast too. But that was followed by a blackcurrant, hot lemon and honey drink to try to ease the throat.<\/p>\n

There’s some cough mixture too left over from last time and I had a couple of teaspoons of that. And much to my surprise, that seemed to work to some extent.<\/p>\n

For lunch, I did manage a sandwich and some fruit (it was a very late lunch though) and then back on the sofa. I put a few DVDs on (the remote controller that I bought does actually work) but I would be lying if I were to say that I saw very much of them.<\/p>\n

And although it’s quite early, I’m off to bed. No tea either because I’m really not feeling very much like it.<\/p>\n

Let’s all hope that I’ll feel a little better tomorrow.<\/p>\n
