… the burst of enthusiasm that I had had yesterday deserted me again and we had another quite lethargic day.<\/p>\n
What didn’t help matters was that the battery in the phone went flat during the night and so I didn’t have the usual alarm call. It was … errr … some time later that I resurrected myself from the dead. But I’d been on my travels too, in a farm connected to that chocolate factory where I was the other night.<\/p>\n
But I don’t know whether or not I mentioned it last night but the temperature dramatically warmed up in the afternoon, to such an extent that I didn’t put the heating on in the bedroom last night. And while I could feel the chill, it wasn’t too unpleasant. <\/p>\n
With the late start and even later breakfast it disrupted my plan somewhet and it was another day when I just couldn’t get myself going. I ended up accomplishing nothing at all.<\/p>\n
Outside this afternoon it was really delicious – 15\u00b0C (warmer than in the building) and it’s been a long time since we’ve had that temperature. There were crowds of people out enjoying the weather. I bumped into my neighbour and we had a good chat for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n
It’s worth recording too that despite the lethargy I didn’t crash out this afternoon. Makes me wonder if my early starts are what are seeing me off.<\/p>\n
Seeing as I’m starting to run out of space in the freezer I rescued the white bap that was in there and had burger and baked potatoes. That was delicious too. <\/p>\n
And then, the evening stroll around the walls – in daylight. The first time for many, many months. But SHOCK HORROR the public bins were full to overflowing. I had to put my rubbish in Caliburn until I can find another one tomorrow somewhere. <\/p>\n
Now I’ll make sure that the phone goes on charge tonight. It’s shopping tomorrow and I don’t want to be late. But I don’t need much seeing as I’ll be on my travels in the week. <\/p>\n
And that reminds me – I’d better start to pack, hadn’t I? <\/p>\n
